Glass Labels Buyer (M/W/X)
Temporary mission

Tasks:
The role has the objective of supporting the activities of category buyer, this consists of keeping the relationships with suppliers and ensuring the supply of the strategic materials.
As a Glass Labels Buyer, you will:
• Applies and implements purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical, and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility
• Ensures purchase orders management, looks for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives
• Analyzes, aligns, and evaluates offers received, to select the best available alternatives
• Monitors operative KPIs (service level, quality, etc.)
• Contributes to defining purchasing strategy for the referent Category, based on business needs
• Supports Category Manager in the negotiation of good / services and in the definition of contracts
• For specific projects, is involved in the Category / financial planning
• Ensures alignment between proper budget management and raw materials purchasing business objectives
• Conducts negotiation with suppliers of the Category of responsibility, in alignment with internal procedures and Code of Business Conduct
• Ensures the competition between suppliers and subcontractors even by organizing tenders
• Improve relationships with suppliers, to ensure continuity, manage criticalities and strengthen common objectives

Profile:
• Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or other related fields;
• Years of experience: at least 2 years;
• Fluent in English, Italian and French will be considered a plus;
• Previous role in a purchasing department or other related experience to the category;
• Analytical mindset (to be able to quickly understand/derive the vendor’s true cost structure);
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Strong reporting and negotiation skills;
• Knowledge of Global Packaging market, price agreements;
• Knowledge of principal manufacturing and sustainability processes;
• Office (more specifically Excel) + SAP ERP
• Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence with a result-oriented approach;
• A fast learner who rapidly moves up the learning curve and wants to continue to take over new responsibilities;
• Ethical and strong personal values;
