Client Description:

Manpower Luxembourg, a recruitment expert, is looking for one of its clients, a company specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of tires, a Quality Technician/Engineer.Job Description:

  • Apply quality standards to finished and in-stock tires – in the final finishing area, in the warehouse (indoor and outdoor), and in preparatory storage locations.
  • Manage inspection tickets based on provided inputs.
  • Collaborate with the factory and management on findings, individual reviews, and rates.
  • Create reports on non-compliant tires.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in appearance audits of products “as delivered”.
  • Collaborate with the factory on manufacturing data requests.
  • Support factory acceptance audits.
  • Collect and enter 20-day non-compliant tire reports for the region (Americas or EMEA/AP).
  • Respond to factory questions about the appearance of new tires.
  • Support the analysis of returned tires (initiated by the development team) or factory return requests.
  • Support the factory’s quality and logistics organization for critical customer shipments.
  • Support factory standards – Collaborate with factories on needs.
  • Manage factory tire freeze requests.
  • For Luxembourg only – Collect and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual product return data related to product quality.
  • Support the logistics organization for freight damage tracking.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum associate degree or applicable practical experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
  • German is a plus ( in addition to French and English).
  • Computer use: Office 365, email, spreadsheets, cloud-based systems, presentations, SharePoint.
  • Technical aptitude, tire knowledge is a plus.
  • Communication – Phone and email – with GYR, YRC, and customers regarding customer satisfaction issues.
  • Independent, self-motivated worker.
  • Ability to visually assess tire appearance and read and access tire quality records.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports.

What Client Offers:

  • Minimum of 1 year for the assignment.
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day. May include variable start and stop times.
