HSE Specialist (H/F/X)
A key player in the automotive industry is looking for a committed and knowledgeable HSE Specialist to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of EHS standards and a proactive approach to workplace safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with European and national health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement procedures to identify and mitigate workplace and environmental hazards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance on EHS protocols; conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
- Maintain relationships with local authorities, environmental groups, and other stakeholders.
- Manage environmental permits related to energy and waste (air, water, electricity, gas).
- Maintain and update the MSDS database.
- Oversee waste management processes, including supplier coordination and documentation.
- Represent EHS in Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external sustainability matters.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in EHS coordination roles.
- Strong knowledge of current EHS regulations and risk assessment tools.
- Experience in continuous improvement and internal auditing.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report EHS data.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English; German recommended, French is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemical, industrial risks, technical background with EHS training).
- Certified Technical Course in Health and Safety at Work is an asset.
