SCM Planner (H/F/X)
A major player in the automotive industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive SCM Planner to support production planning and supply chain coordination. This role is ideal for someone with strong SAP knowledge, planning experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects in supply chain coordination.
- Manage daily and special JIT/JIS customer calls and ensure timely responses.
- Coach junior colleagues on planning processes and tools.
- Plan weekly and daily production for complex or new series using HEIJUNKA principles, based on customer demand, capacity, and material availability.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery deviations.
- Order raw materials from suppliers and supply centers.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring SAP data accuracy.
- Analyze forecasts and stock levels to support planning decisions.
- Process and validate customer EDI orders in SAP.
- Ensure proper receipt of supplier orders via EDI/WEB-EDI systems.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Material Planning, or Purchasing.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP modules MM, PP, and SD.
- Experience managing new project launches and phase-outs.
- Excellent IT skills and familiarity with electronic communication tools.
- Fluent in English; German and/or French are a plus.
