Advanced Product Development Engineer (H/F/X)
A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking an Advanced Product Development Engineer to lead innovative product development projects from concept to production. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in product design, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced product development projects from concept to SOP, following structured development processes.
- Translate product roadmaps and direction from Product Owners into actionable development plans.
- Coordinate the design, prototyping, and testing of new concepts in collaboration with labs and production teams.
- Support the improvement of existing products through design, prototyping, and validation.
- Collaborate with APD engineers across regions and serve as a backup when needed.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant role with demonstrated career progression.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, especially with materials like glass, coatings, and plastics.
- Proficiency in product design methodologies including GD&T and DFMEA.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
