Manpower is seeking an experienced Market Account & Fund Lifecycle Specialist to join the Operations team of a major global asset manager in Luxembourg. You will work within a highly skilled and international environment, supporting UCITS fund operations across European markets.
This role covers both market account opening/maintenance and fund lifecycle events. You will act as an operational coordinator between internal teams and external service providers, ensuring smooth execution of key events such as fund launches, mergers, liquidations, and migrations.

Your mission:
Market Account Management

  • Open and maintain custody market accounts across multiple jurisdictions (Europe & international)
  • Coordinate with custodians, internal stakeholders, and legal teams
  • Manage regulatory and documentary requirements (including notarization where required)

Fund Lifecycle Operations

  • Support and coordinate UCITS fund lifecycle events:
  • Launches and share-class creation
  • Mergers and liquidations
  • Asset transfers during fund migrations
  • Work closely with fund accounting, custody, TA and other internal teams

FX & Hedged Share Class Support

  • Support set-up and oversight of FX instructions and passive FX/hedged share classes

Operational Governance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards
  • Maintain documentation, process controls and timelines

Your profile:

 

  • 3–5+ years experience in asset management operations
  • Strong background in custody network / market account opening & maintenance
  • Hands-on experience with UCITS fund lifecycle events
  • Strong understanding of NAV components, TA/FA/BO interfaces, and asset transfers
  • Knowledge of international markets (India highly valued)
  • German language skills (advantage)
  • Experience with FX/hedged share classes setup
  • Ability to manage documentation requiring notarization & legal validation
  • Strong coordination & communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous documentation mindset
  • Able to operate autonomously within defined frameworks
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-driven
  • Excellent command of English
