Manpower Permanent Placement Luxembourg is recruiting for one of its clients a Junior Administrator – Cash & Trade Receivables (M/F/X)

Location: Windhof
Contract: Permanent (CDI)

Your Mission:

As a Junior Administrator, you will actively support accounting activities as well as cash and receivables management. Under the supervision of a Chartered Accountant, you will play a key role in processing accounting transactions, monthly closings, and associated administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities include:

Accounting & Finance:

  • Recording and verifying customer payments, reimbursements, and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Monitoring and resolving internal requests (sales and operational teams).
  • Communicating with external partners (banks, collection agencies, payment providers).
  • Participating in the preparation of bank reconciliations and profit & loss accounts.
  • Assisting with monthly closing (prepaid expenses, provisions, deferred revenues, etc.).
  • Contributing to financial, budgetary, and audit reporting.
  • Occasional support for the accounts payable team.
  • Filing and archiving accounting documents.

Processes & Systems:

  • Participating in the implementation of new accounting processes.
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects (IFRS migration, integration of new entities, etc.).
  • Monitoring compliance with internal procedures and controls.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of tools and processes.

Collaboration:

  • Working closely with finance and operational teams.
  • Training and mentoring new colleagues when necessary.

Your Profile:

 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience).
  • Initial accounting experience is a plus (including internships).
  • Professional level of English required; other languages are an advantage.
  • Good command of Excel; knowledge of JD Edwards or SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Comfortable with IT tools and multicultural environments.
  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel abroad (Belgium).
