Our client provides specialized services to financial institutions and investment vehicles, including execution, custody and depositary services. As the Luxembourg branch continues to develop, they are looking to strengthen their Operations team with a Junior Operations Officer – Securities & Cash.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior professional looking to start or develop their career within banking operations and financial services.
As part of the Operations team, you will support the daily activities related to securities and cash operations, working closely with senior team members.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting senior team members in client servicing activities and operational processes
Ensuring adherence to internal procedures and operational standards
Executing assigned operational controls with accuracy and diligence
Contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes
Booking client instructions in the core banking system (cash and securities)
Responding to client requests in a timely and professional manner
Assisting with reconciliation processes for both cash and securities
Your Profile
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Scientific disciplines or similar
Professional attitude, strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Basic knowledge of the funds industry
Basic understanding of regulations such as UCITS V, AIFMD, MiFID II, CRS, FATCA, AML/CFT
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Good time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with SWIFT Alliance is considered an asset
Fluent English required; Italian and/or Spanish would be an advantage
