Manpower is recruiting a Back-Office Real Estate Credit Officer for one of its institutional clients operating in the financial sector, based in Luxembourg, as part of a temporary assignment.

Your missions:

  • Analyse new transactions from origination to signature, covering both qualitative and quantitative aspects, including credit risk assessment (expected and unexpected loss, risk/return analysis) as well as policy objectives and value added
  • Draft transaction requests for approval and due diligence reports with a view to securing commitments with new and existing counterparties
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk Management, Compliance and other relevant teams) throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Contribute to the negotiation of guarantee transactions, including legal documentation
  • Manage and develop relationships with financial institution clients to ensure transactions meet agreed objectives and facilitate follow-on operations
  • Promote guarantee facilities by participating in internal and external events and preparing presentations and promotional materials
  • Support product and mandate development in cooperation with other teams
  • Collect and analyse thematic data related to microfinance, social entrepreneurship, cultural and alternative lending sectors, and prepare reports and presentations as required

 

Your profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the banking sector or financial consulting, with exposure to client-facing activities
  • Solid understanding of credit risk analysis and financial products, ideally including guarantee structures or diversified loan portfolios
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess both financial and non-financial aspects of transactions
  • Proficiency in standard IT tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong drafting skills; knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently under defined objectives and manage priorities effectively, even under time pressure
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-specialists
  • Good project management skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary environments
