Quality Manager (H/F/X)
A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role is ideal for a quality professional with a strong background in automotive manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement quality control processes to meet industry and customer standards.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished goods.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers and manage escalations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Oversee process audits and product inspections to ensure reliability.
- Prepare departmental budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Deliver effective quality training to team members.
- Ensure compliance with IATF-16949:2019, ISO 9001:2015, and customer-specific requirements.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry, ideally in glass manufacturing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience with lean methodologies and quality management software.
- Fluent in English; German or French is a plus (trilingual is an asset).
