About the Role:
- Position: 3PO Procurement Assistant Buyer
- Reports to: 3PO Procurement Category Manager
- Job Location: ?Luxembourg
- Aim: Support the strategic procurement of contract manufacturing and co-packing services by ensuring reliable supply, optimizing cost and performance, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Enable operational excellence through data-driven sourcing, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
Category Support & Analysis:
- Execute SAP transactional activities related to third-party suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—including 3PO Industrialization, Finance, and Legal—to gather requirements and ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and decisions.
- Coordinate with Ferrero’s internal R&D teams to follow up on industrial trials and ensure timely supplier payments.
Sourcing & Contracting:
- Support the 3PO Procurement team through the sourcing process, including supplier enablement and qualification, while ensuring seamless system integration.
- Support the preparation and execution of tenders/benchmarks, including supplier evaluations and price comparison;
- Assist in the preparation and review of contractual documents (e.g., NDAs, MOUs, Contracts) in partnership with the Legal team; oversee contract processing using digital platforms such as SAP Ariba and ICERTIS.
Supplier Management:
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers to support ongoing collaboration and performance.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including ethical standards, certification achievements, and Days of Payments Outstanding (DPO).
Candidate Profile:
Educational background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
Professional experience[CC1] :
- Around 2+ years of relevant work experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Responsible Sourcing or other related functions.
- Handson experience supporting or managing contract manufacturing, co-packing, or other third-party production services.
- Exposure to RFI/RFP processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with cost analysis, supplier performance tracking, and procurement reporting.
- Experience working crossfunctionally with quality, operations, legal, and finance teams.
- Understanding of compliance, regulatory standards (e.g. food safety), and risk management related to thirdparty suppliers is a plus.

- Strong communication skills – able to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset – works effectively across cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations, R&D, and Legal.
- Analytical thinking – applies logic and data-driven insights to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Attention to detail – ensures accuracy in contracts, data analysis, and supplier performance tracking.
- Proactive attitude – takes initiative to identify risks, propose improvements, and follow through on tasks
IT Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Previous experience with SAP (WM, SD, MM Pur-PPPI, MDM as preferred).
- Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, ICERTIS etc.)
Languages:
- Fluent in English;
- Any additional language is considered a plus.
