Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE
For the Region Multi-Countries, offices based in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Procurement Project Assistant in the General Procurement department. The role will be taking care of procurement about Merchandising services and Point of Sales Material (POSM) across many different countries, supporting Area Europe and category managers in the harmonization project at European level. This consists of keeping the relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers ensuring the supply of strategic materials.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Merchandising:
– The resource will have to work in strict contact with local sales department and trade marketing deep diving priorities and needs, to harmonize and deliver efficiencies, in the Merchandising services across different countries.

POSM:

– The resource will have to work in strict contact with local trade marketing, marketing and supply chain deep diving priorities and needs, to harmonize the Point of Sales Materials across different countries.
Main tasks to be performed for both projects:

  • Market scouting and analysis (launch of the RFI)
  • Analysis of the as is of the Merchandising services/POSM in use
  • Creation of a catalogue of the Merchandising services/POSM in use  
  • Propose a procurement action plan to satisfy the needs of each single country
  • Check suppliers’ compliancy to Ferrero Policies
  • Perform the vendor risk management process (VRM process)
  • Preparation of the RFP to launch a multi country tender
  • Registration and qualification of the suppliers
  • Renewal of contracts expiring in the Region
  • Work item due to mistakes on pricing  

PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES

  • Management of databases, keeping prices updated
  • Approval of POs
  • Follow up of deliveries

RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
– Internal business stakeholders
– Central procurement department
Candidate Profile:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or similar

PROFESIONAL SKILLS
– Overall, 2-3 years of work experience.
– Experience in Procurement, Digital, Project Management will be considered a plus.
– Proactiveness in anticipating buyers’ needs in terms of supplier and contract management;
– Curiosity and problem solving;
– Team player with strong business attitude will be considered fundamental or a positive performance;
– Able to maintain positive and proactive attitude also in stressful situations;
IT SKILLS
– Proficiency in MS office skills (particularly in Excel and PowerPoint)
– Knowledge of SAP Ariba will be considered a plus
LANGUAGES
– Fluency in written and spoken English
