Data Governance & Data Management Analyst (M/F/X)
Client Description:
Manpower is recruiting, on behalf of one of its institutional clients in Luxembourg, a Data Governance & Data Management Analyst to support a major transformation initiative within a Risk & Compliance environment.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that corporate data is accurate, reliable, governed, and fully aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Job Description:
As part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance division, you will actively contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s data governance framework.
Data Governance & Strategy

Support the development and rollout of corporate data governance policies, standards, and tools.

Review data-related project charters and change requests; ensure governance deliverables are properly scoped and planned.

Represent the directorate’s needs in cross-functional working groups.
Business Glossary & Metadata Management

Define and maintain business terms, data fields, KRIs and metadata following internal standards.

Build and maintain a network of business and technical experts to ensure metadata accuracy and completeness.
Data Quality Management

Identify and analyse data quality issues, assess root causes, and drive corrective actions (short and long term).

Implement, test, monitor and document data quality controls and indicators.

Coordinate prioritisation of IT tickets related to data quality changes.
Information Architecture

Contribute to documenting how data is collected, classified and structured according to its criticality.

Participate in defining and improving conceptual data models and integration within the global data landscape.
Transversal Support

Raise data governance awareness across stakeholders and ensure compliance with related policies.

Draft business cases and translate them into functional specifications.

Share expertise and guide colleagues in data-driven activities.
Candidate Profile:
-
University degree in Finance, Mathematics, IT, Information Management or similar.

Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, data management, business/data analysis or related activities.

Experience with banking regulatory frameworks (e.g. BCBS239) is considered a strong asset.

Knowledge of credit or financial risk management is an advantage.

Skills in BO, SQL, Python or other BI/programming tools are a plus.

Previous involvement in IT project management is an advantage.

Excellent command of English; French is considered an asset.
