Client Description:
Manpower is recruiting a Senior Compliance Officer for one of its clients specialized in the financial sector, located in Luxembourg, within an international working environment.Job Description:
Your missions:
- Assess money laundering and terrorist financing risks related to investment operations and mandates, before and after transactions
- Assess sanctions risks related to investment operations and mandates, both pre- and post-transaction
- Contribute to compliance opinions within approval documentation
- Develop, maintain, and improve AML and sanctions policies and procedures, and deliver related training
- Prepare and present compliance reporting (AML, terrorist financing) to internal committees and governance bodies
- Provide guidance, support, and oversight to the first line of defense
- Conduct annual compliance risk assessments and define associated monitoring plans
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure operational implementation
- Collaborate closely with risk, legal, and operational teams
- Contribute to strengthening the compliance culture across the organization
Candidate Profile:
Your profile:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Law, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or related field
- Initial solid experience in compliance, AML, sanctions, risk management, or financial crime investigations (5–10 years for a senior profile)
- Good understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions regulatory frameworks
- CAMS or ICA certification is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive and complex matters with confidentiality
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English is required; any additional European language is an asset
