Indirect Tax & Financial Reporting Manager (M/F/X)
Client Description:
Manpower is recruiting an Indirect Tax & Financial Reporting Manager for one of its clients, an international group, for a position based in Luxembourg.Job Description:
Your missions:
- Monitor and review the preparation of VAT returns and recapitulative statements across multiple jurisdictions (BE, LU, IT, ES, DE, FR, NL, PL)
- Ensure compliance with local and European indirect tax regulations
- Provide VAT-related advice to internal stakeholders (Sales, AP, Logistics)
- Prepare and oversee statistical tax reporting
- Act as the main point of contact with tax authorities during audits
- Support and contribute to VAT compliance automation initiatives
- Manage and develop a team of 4 employees (technical support, review of tax returns)
- Supervise and review the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and identify reporting discrepancies
- Support analysts in the use of reporting tools
- Liaise with group auditors
Candidate Profile:
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 7 to 10 years of experience in indirect tax compliance
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS standards
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
