Back-Office Finance Officer (M/F/X)
Manpower is recruiting a Back-Office Finance Officer for one of its clients operating in the financial sector in Luxembourg, for a temporary assignment.
Your missions:
- Process incoming cash flows across various mandate families using the eFront mandate module
- Monitor incoming payments and escalate any delays or discrepancies
- Create and update bank accounts and static data within internal systems
- Perform regular cash balance and deposit checks related to mandates
- Investigate discrepancies and follow up with the relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Finance teams to ensure accurate bookings and reconciliations
- Provide operational support to team members during peak periods and holiday coverage
- Assist with document management and the transition to new filing systems
- Support internal control and audit exercises by preparing and identifying required documentation
- Update operational documentation and maintain Alteryx and Tableau related files and procedures
Your profile:
- University degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in banking operations, payments, settlements, or financial back-office activities
- Good understanding of middle-office or back-office processes
- Strong knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with eFront, Alteryx, Tableau, or PowerApps is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a demanding environment
- Team player with excellent organizational skills
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is considered an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment
