Operational Assistant – Market Data Management
Manpower is recruiting an Operational Assistant – Market Data Management for one of its clients operating in the financial sector, based in Luxembourg, for a temporary assignment.
Your missions:
- Ensure the monitoring, validation and investigation of market and reference data to maintain high data quality across financial systems
- Analyse and structure data, produce clear documentation and reporting outputs, and communicate findings to business users and stakeholders
- Support business users in their use of financial instrument data and help translate operational needs into practical data solutions
- Participate in the configuration, maintenance and smooth running of market data across various tools and systems
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, IT and Operations teams, as well as external data providers where applicable
- Contribute to business continuity in a production-critical environment subject to daily deadlines
- Apply internal procedures rigorously and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar operational role within the financial sector
- Good knowledge of financial instruments and market data
- Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent command of Excel; knowledge of SQL is an advantage
- Analytical, structured mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to assess data reliability and consistency
- Strong team spirit and ability to work in a production-driven environment with tight deadlines
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
- Secondary-level diploma complemented by a 2-year certification in a relevant field (finance, economics, accounting, business administration) or equivalent professional experience
