Project Manager Compliance (M/F/X)
Manpower is recruiting a Project Manager Compliance for one of its clients in the European banking sector, based in Luxembourg, for a temporary assignment supporting the implementation of a regulatory compliance project.
Your missions:
- Contribute to the implementation of the Digital Regulatory Compliance Tool (DiReCT) aimed at strengthening control frameworks in relation to Market Abuse, conflicts of interest and MiFID requirements
- Coordinate and follow up on regulatory assessments related to the project (Information Security, Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence)
- Participate in InfoSec assessments in collaboration with IT teams and control functions
- Contribute to the assessment of AI-related regulatory requirements in line with internal governance frameworks and the evolving EU AI Act
- Support the preparation and update of Data Protection documentation in coordination with the DPO
- Ensure consistency across regulatory assessments (InfoSec, Data Protection, AI governance)
- Act as a coordination point between internal and external stakeholders (GR&C/OCCO, GCI, EMI, MIU, IT and external service providers)
- Organise and facilitate workshops to gather requirements and validate control frameworks
- Prepare materials for governance committees and decision-making bodies
- Monitor overall project progress and ensure delivery across all implementation phases
- Track core and extended modules of the project
- Identify, monitor and escalate risks and critical issues when necessary
- Follow up on actions and issues using backlog and tracking tools
- Ensure the quality, structure and auditability of all project and regulatory documentation
- Contribute to the drafting of control descriptions, assessment summaries and compliance recommendations
- Ensure alignment with internal compliance policies and frameworks
- Support continuous improvement of processes and integration of regulatory requirements into the DiReCT tool
- Contribute to the definition of practical compliance workflows within the tool
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Political Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in project management or regulatory transformation within the financial sector
- Strong understanding of banking compliance topics (Market Abuse, conflicts of interest, MiFID)
- Experience in compliance, audit, consulting or regulatory project management is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince2, PMI, Agile, PM2)
- Good understanding of business analysis and process design principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding and deadline-driven environment
- Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English and/or French; any additional European language is an asset
