Risk Officer ( H/F/X)
Manpower Permanent Placement is recruiting a Risk Officer for one of its clients. Our client is an international banking institution based in Luxembourg, recognized for its demanding environment, strong governance framework, and commitment to risk management and compliance. As part of the expansion of its Risk & Compliance department, we are seeking an experienced professional who wishes to contribute to strategic initiatives at the heart of the organization.
Your Mission :
Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will play a key role in the deployment and continuous improvement of the bank’s risk management framework. You will work across various business functions to ensure effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the effective implementation of the risk management framework and oversee its application across the bank’s various activities.
- Coordinate risk management processes, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Key Risk Indicator (KRI) monitoring, and incident management.
- Analyze, consolidate, and monitor risk exposures while proactively identifying emerging risks.
- Challenge risk assessments and key indicators to ensure the quality and relevance of risk analyses.
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for Senior Management and governance committees.
- Support and coordinate the work of risk analysts by providing guidance, review, and oversight.
- Act as a key point of contact for business teams on risk management and governance-related matters.
- Participate in interactions with regulators, auditors, and control functions.
- Contribute to the development and promotion of a strong risk culture across the organization.
- Support the integration of ESG risks into the overall risk management framework.
Your Profile :
- University degree in Finance, Risk Management, Audit, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5 to 8 years minimum in a Risk Management role within the financial services or banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies, including RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident management, risk reporting, and control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues from a strategic perspective.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management.
- Well-organized, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of recent regulatory developments, particularly DORA, as well as ICT and ESG risks, would be considered a significant advantage.
