Risk Officer (Operational / Credit / Market) (M/F/X)
Manpower is seeking a Risk Officer (Operational / Credit / Market) for one of its clients in the banking sector, located in Luxembourg, as part of a temporary assignment.
Your missions:
- Support the identification, assessment, and monitoring of operational, credit, or market risks
- Review risk incidents, controls, and mitigation actions
- Analyse exposures, limits, and risk metrics in line with internal frameworks
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and regulatory bodies
- Maintain risk registers, digitalise and classify risk documentation
- Update internal systems, risk tools, and monitoring frameworks
- Ensure timely follow?up on pending risk items and remediation actions
- Apply internal risk?management procedures rigorously
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Front Office teams
- Contribute to the team’s effectiveness through structured organisation and strong analytical support
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in operational, credit, or market risk within banking or financial institutions
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative risk data
- Rigorous, organised, and comfortable with complex documentation
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across departments
- Strong command of MS Office and risk?management tools
- Fluent English is mandatory; French or German is an asset
