Real Estate Accountant
Manpower Permanent Placement is supporting its client, a well-established asset management company . As part of its continued growth, we are recruiting a Real Estate Accountant (M/F/X) on a permanent, full-time basis in Luxembourg.
This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and international environment, with broad exposure to accounting, tax, and financial reporting activities within the real estate sector.
Your Role
- Manage a portfolio of companies, overseeing budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting activities.
- Support the preparation of annual accounts under Lux GAAP, including month-end and year-end closing processes and accounting adjustments.
- Prepare and file tax and VAT returns, as well as regulatory reports, including submissions to the BCL.
- Review legal documentation and contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Assist auditors, clients, and tax authorities with requests and participate in resolving accounting-related matters.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts through data collection and financial analysis.
- Support additional finance-related projects and responsibilities as required.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position. Outstanding recent graduates may also be considered based on their academic achievements.
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards (Lux GAAP).
- Previous exposure to consolidation, VAT, and taxation is considered an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, autonomy, and a proactive mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with adaptability and effective prioritization abilities.
- Fluency in English is required. French and/or German would be considered an advantage.
