Building Technician (m/w/x)
Manpower Luxembourg Recruitment is hiring a Building Technician on a permanent contract for one of its clients, an international company based in southern Luxembourg.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and technical management of building installations, ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and quality of the site’s infrastructure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Opening the building and monitoring alarm systems and access points
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with applicable standards
- Performing regular inspections (heating, water, lighting, safety systems)
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work independently
- Ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas
- Coordinating and supervising external service providers (heating, plumbing, electrical, security, cleaning, etc.)
- Reporting and following up on technical issues, ensuring proper documentation of interventions
- Ensuring high-quality work and compliance with deadlines
Your profile:
- Proven experience as a caretaker, maintenance technician, or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of technical building systems (heating, plumbing, electrical, safety systems)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical work
- Proficiency in German and English; French is considered an advantage
- Autonomous, reliable, and responsible working attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving licence required
