Paying Agent Officer – Securities Services (M/F/X)
Manpower Luxembourg is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a leading international financial institution, for a Paying Agent Officer – Securities Services (M/F/X) to join its operations team on a 4-month temporary assignment.
Your responsibilities:
As part of the Securities Services Operations team, you will play a key role in the management of Paying Agent and Common Depositary activities related to international debt securities issuances.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Processing Paying Agent and Common Depositary activities for debt securities where the institution acts as a Paying Agent, Common Depositary, or French Paying Agent.
- Supporting the operational management of new bond issuances within international clearing systems.
- Monitoring corporate actions and payment events throughout the lifecycle of debt securities.
- Managing funding requests to issuers and following up on payment confirmations.
- Ensuring the timely receipt, verification, and processing of funds from issuers.
- Preparing and sending payment notifications to International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs).
- Performing monthly reconciliations and investigating discrepancies on transit and suspense cash accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, controls, and operational deadlines.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes and team activities.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience within Banking Operations, Securities Services, Custody, Corporate Actions, Corporate Trust, or a similar environment.
- Good understanding of securities operations and financial market processes.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration.
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
