Senior Risk Analyst
Manpower Permanent Placement is recruiting a Senior Risk Analyst for one of its clients. Our client is an international banking institution based in Luxembourg, recognized for its demanding environment, strong governance framework, and commitment to risk management and compliance. As part of the expansion of its Risk & Compliance department, we are seeking an experienced professional looking to contribute at the heart of the organization’s strategic risk and governance challenges.
Your Mission :
Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will play a central role in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of the organization’s risks. As a trusted technical expert, you will contribute to the enhancement of risk management methodologies while supporting business teams on risk, control, and governance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage risk management activities, ensuring the quality of analyses, controls, and supporting documentation.
- Take ownership of key risk management processes, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Key Risk Indicator (KRI) monitoring, and incident management, while driving their continuous improvement.
- Identify, analyze, and assess operational, ICT, and emerging risks, providing pragmatic mitigation recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of risk indicators, trends, and events to support a forward-looking and proactive risk management approach.
- Challenge risk data and control assessments to ensure consistency and compliance with internal methodologies.
- Advise business and operational teams on the interpretation and application of risk management policies and frameworks.
- Review and validate the work performed by Risk Analysts to ensure a high level of quality and reliability of deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management policies, procedures, tools, and methodologies.
- Support the preparation of management reports by providing meaningful analysis and data-driven recommendations.
- Contribute to the integration and monitoring of ESG risks within the overall risk management framework.
Your Profile :
- University degree in Finance, Risk Management, Audit, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Risk Management within the financial services or banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies, particularly RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident management, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose practical solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously while exercising sound judgment on sensitive matters and escalation requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interest in regulatory developments and emerging Risk Management challenges, particularly DORA, ICT risks, and ESG risks.
