Senior Accountant (Italian & English Speaking) – 6 months
Our client, an international company based in Luxembourg, is looking for a Confirmed Accountant (Italian Speaker) for a 6-month assignment.
Your missions :
- Manage daily accounting activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and support statutory reporting requirements.
- Reconcile accounts and monitor accounting transactions to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments and follow-up.
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury-related activities.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance matters.
- Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting and management reporting.
- Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Your profile :
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role within Luxembourg.
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg accounting principles and VAT regulations.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
- Fluent Italian and English are mandatory; French is considered an asset.
- Well-organized, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
