Securities Settlement Officer (M/F/X)
Manpower is seeking a Securities Settlement Officer for one of its clients in the banking sector, located in Luxembourg, as part of a temporary assignment.
Your missions:
- Process and monitor settlement of securities transactions (equities, bonds, funds, derivatives)
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement in coordination with custodians and counterparties
- Digitalise, classify, and maintain documentation related to settlement activities
- Update internal systems, positions, and settlement instructions
- Investigate and resolve settlement fails, breaks, and discrepancies
- Apply internal procedures rigorously and ensure compliance with market standards
- Collaborate closely with Custody, Middle Office, Brokers, and Operations teams
- Contribute to the team’s efficiency through structured organisation and proactive communication
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in securities settlement or custody operations
- Strong understanding of settlement cycles, market practices, and corporate events
- Rigorous, organised, and comfortable with complex documentation
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork dynamics
- Strong command of MS Office and settlement systems
- Fluent English is mandatory; French or German is an advantage
