Manpower Permanent Placement is recruiting a Senior Compliance & Risk Officer (M/F/X) for a 3-month fixed-term contract to cover a paternity leave.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Compliance & Risk Officer to join a dynamic and growing team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing both the Compliance and Risk Management frameworks of the Luxembourg branch, ensuring adherence to Luxembourg and European regulatory requirements while supporting a strong culture of governance and risk awareness.
As a trusted advisor to senior management, you will monitor regulatory developments, conduct compliance reviews, assess operational and ICT risks, support AML/CFT initiatives, liaise with regulators and auditors, and contribute to the enhancement of internal controls and risk management practices. You will also participate in governance committees and play an active role in maintaining the institution’s operational resilience framework.
To succeed in this position, you should have at least five years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control, or a related function within the Luxembourg financial sector. Previous experience within a depositary bank, custodian bank, management company, asset manager, or another regulated financial institution is highly desirable. A solid understanding of CSSF regulations, AML/KYC requirements, UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, DORA, and operational risk management is essential.
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business actions. Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Italian would be considered a strong asset.
Please note that only candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control, or a related function within the Luxembourg financial sector will be considered for this position.
