Client Description:
Manpower is currently recruiting a Sustainable Finance Officer for one of its clients, a leading European financial institution based in Luxembourg, for a temporary assignment.Job Description:
Your missions:
- Support the rollout of climate-related financial products and contribute to initiatives aimed at increasing their impact and deployment
- Participate in the design and development of new financial instruments focused on climate and sustainability objectives
- Assist in the implementation of climate and sustainability strategies across the organization and its various business lines
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective integration and follow-up of sustainable finance principles and policies
- Conduct sector analyses on topics such as cleantech, climate adaptation, critical raw materials, and the circular economy
- Provide guidance to internal teams on eligibility criteria, internal policies, and the application of EU sustainable finance regulations
- Contribute to the harmonization of climate-related frameworks and eligibility criteria across financial products
- Monitor developments in sustainable finance regulation and engage with relevant regulatory and institutional stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, industry experts, and key market participants
- Prepare analytical reports, briefings, and executive summaries to support decision-making processes
Candidate Profile:
Your profile:
- 3 to 6 years of recent experience in sustainable finance, climate policy, green finance product development, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of the EU Sustainable Finance Framework
- Experience in structuring, designing, or assessing green and sustainable financial products
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational guidance and internal recommendations
- Good understanding of financial products and financial markets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise outputs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
