Loan Officer (M/F/X)
For one of our clients, a European institution based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Loan Officer on an interim assignment.
Your responsibilities :
- Manage and monitor lending operations throughout their lifecycle.
- Process loan transactions, interest calculations and fee invoicing.
- Maintain and update lending databases and operational records.
- Prepare internal and external reports related to lending activities.
- Support the management of loan events, including amendments and waivers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of lending processes and controls.
- Monitor contractual obligations and support risk monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of lending operations.
Your profile :
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in lending operations, loan administration or lending transactions, or 5 years of experience in a banking or financial middle-office function.
- Good understanding of loan documentation and lending products.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and data analysis.
- Knowledge of Python and/or Power BI (DAX) is considered an asset.
- Understanding of credit risk monitoring and financial modelling is a plus.
- Fluent English is mandatory. Any additional language is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent organisational and communication skills.
