Economist (Macroeconomic & Financial Analysis) (M/F/X)
For one of our prestigious international clients based in Luxembourg, Manpower is currently recruiting an Economist to join a dynamic team focused on macroeconomic surveillance, financial stability, and risk analysis within the euro area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical professional who is passionate about economics, financial markets, and policy analysis, and who wishes to contribute to high-impact work in a European environment.
Your missions :
- Monitor and analyse macroeconomic and financial market developments across euro area countries.
- Prepare analytical reports, presentations, briefing notes, and economic assessments for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the evaluation of economic and financial risks affecting the euro area.
- Develop and enhance analytical tools used for macro-financial risk monitoring and forecasting.
- Support policy analysis and transform research findings into practical recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across economics, finance, funding, and investment activities.
- Participate in the production of regular publications and strategic economic monitoring exercises.
Your profile :
- Master’s degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in macroeconomic analysis, financial stability, economic surveillance, central banking, policy institutions, international financial institutions, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and financial economics.
- Solid quantitative, analytical, statistical, and econometric skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and quantitative analysis tools.
- Knowledge of statistical and econometric software such as R, Python, Stata, MATLAB, or similar is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to present complex findings clearly to a variety of audiences.
